Marius Gabriel was born in Africa in 1954.  He has lived in Britain, Italy and Spain.

He began writing romances to finance his postgraduate research into Elizabethan drama -- and ended up writing 39 novels, under the pseudonym Madeleine Ker.

He is also the author of 4 longer thrillers under his own name.

He currently lives in South Africa and continues to work on fiction projects -- you can find some excerpts on this site.

He also offers creative writing assistance to gifted writers.
